From 1 August 2026, the Heavy Vehicle National Law reform replaces NHVAS with the new HVA scheme, and every accredited operator needs a documented Safety Management System. CoachQuote doesn't make you build a separate compliance process — the checks it already runs while you quote double as your evidence.
As you add legs to a job, CoachQuote runs the NHVR Standard Hours (solo driver) rules against your planned depart, drive, and standby times — live, under the itinerary — so you see a fatigue issue before you send the quote, not after the job is already booked.
Under each leg, CoachQuote shows cumulative work vs rest — raw and creditable (the 15-minute block rule) — plus a countdown to the next required break.
A standby leg needs a duty tag — Resting, On duty, or Other work — because "released" standby isn't automatically rest. Set it on the leg and the tally adjusts accordingly.
If the planned day breaches Standard Hours, you'll see an amber "Needs attention" note with a concrete fix (e.g. "extend the 14:00 standby from 20 to 30 min"). It never stops you from quoting or saving the job — the call is always yours.
Each day gets its own panel, plus a check on the overnight gap between days (7 continuous hours rest required).
Set a required licence class on each vehicle (Setup → Vehicles), and a licence class on each driver (Setup → Drivers, or directly on a job's vehicle allocation). CoachQuote compares the two automatically whenever you allocate a driver to a job.
A badge appears next to the driver field on the allocation row: a green "meets requirement" note, or a red flag naming exactly what's missing — e.g. "LR does not meet HR requirement."
Each vehicle/contractor row on a job gets its own independent licence check — one coach failing doesn't hide a pass on another.
Like the fatigue check, this never blocks you from saving or quoting the job. It's there so the mismatch is visible before the job runs, not discovered on the day.
Reports → Compliance Evidence Pack turns any date range into a single, ready-to-hand-over PDF: a cover page summarising licence checks and fatigue flags across every job, followed by each job's full work ticket and work/rest profile page — the same documents you'd generate individually, bundled for review.
This month, last month, financial year, or a custom range. The pack includes every job with status Accepted or Completed in that window — the jobs that actually ran, not every quote you sent.
Job count, licence issues, and fatigue flags as headline numbers, then a table listing every job's licence check result — so you can spot problems without paging through the whole pack.
Every job's complete work ticket (one page per coach on multi-vehicle jobs) and its work/rest profile page follow the cover page, in date order.
No. It generates the operational evidence an auditor would ask for — planned work/rest profiles, licence checks, work tickets — as a by-product of quoting. Your accreditation documentation, policies, and actual work diaries are still your responsibility.
CoachQuote never gates you from operating your business — it nudges. You know the real-world context (a relief driver arranged last-minute, a client who moved a pickup time) better than any rule engine. The flag exists so you can't miss it, not so it can override your judgement.
The licence check shows "No licence data recorded" rather than a false pass, and the fatigue profile is skipped for that job rather than guessing — missing data never gets silently treated as a clean result.
